Exciting news on two fronts; CHRISTIAN DISASTER RESPONSE has relocated their offices to 212 Dairy Road in Auburndale, Florida. Due to increasing costs and  the fact that a  number of volunteers were having difficulty in climbing the stairs to our second floor offices.   Our new location has ease of access and a large parking area in the church parking lot next door. CHRISTIAN DISASTER RESPONSE  has received a donation of a large boat with a replacement value of  16 Million Dollars.   This is very large boat, 236 feet long and 70 feet wide with three decks and a large area in the hold for cargo and supplies.  This boat was built as a Casino and was never put into service.   The donors have asked us to put it to work providing emergency disaster services.   We will build a state of the art medical clinic, with housing for volunteer medical staff and response crew, as well   a high volume water purification system, that can turn salt water into pure high quality drinking water.    

The boat can also provide mass care by providing lodging and food services anywhere along the coast of the Americas and travel up larger rivers.    Equipment on board consist of (4) four very large generators, two engines, bow thrusters,  sewer plant,  two elevators, galley and room for a large dining room and chapel.  

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO EQUIP AND PREPARE THIS BOAT FOR SERVICE.   The estimated cost is two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.  Already up to half of that amount is available as a matching grant.   THAT MEANS WE MUST RAISE $ 125,000 TO REACH OUR GOAL. This amount would be much larger if we were not getting a major donation of hospital equipment  and supplies.
