CDR OKLAHOMA TORNADO DISASTER RESPONSE

CHRISTIAN DISASTER RESPONSE in cooperation with partner agencies has responded to the Oklahoma Tornadoes. A “Needs Assessment Team” is conducting a Damage and Needs Survey in order to determine what relief efforts and supplies are needed during the emergency and recovery stages. Lodging for volunteers is very limited and the Local Government has asked that NO ONE SELF deploy. Only Trained Volunteers with skills needed at the different stages should deploy when requested.

CURRENT URGENT NEEDS: “Gifts of the Heart” Recovery Kits, Funds and additional trained volunteers who are able to respond for two weeks, now and for the next 12 months.

LOOKING AHEAD

This may be a very active year, and not with just storms and hurricanes.   Other disasters are coming our way.  The hedge of protection has been broken down by our rejection of the Righteous Path outlined in God’s Word.  America may experience Nuclear and chemical attacks.  Be prepared for any disaster that might affect your community. Be Spiritually as well Physically Prepared!

The child you see in the picture below is one of more than 120 children that need your help. Nutritional food and pure clean water can make the difference between sickness and health, or to make it very clear, life and death.     Haitians have a very limited supply of healthy food and clean pure water and both are very hard to find and expensive to purchase.  CDR along with a Partner Agency are committed to provide food and pure water for these children.   The local Pastor, told us that some of these children go for days without food.   My heart was broken, when I heard this.  I prayed that our prayer partners would help provide food and clean water for these children.

Please help CDR purchase $350 worth of food each month.  This along with the other agency’s donations will provide Nutritional meals every day.   God has also led us to provide a deep well for this Church-School.

A Deep well and sealed pump will provide clean, pure water for these children and their families.   We have two bids, each is between $8,000 and $8,850.  We already have $2,000 and need an additional $6,850.  Share these need withs your church or Sunday School and pray with us that God’s Special People will respond to this Life Saving food and water project.
